Academy MIddle School LTP
Academy Hockey Club, in partnership with the Dayton Icehounds, is excited to announce a 7 week Middle School (4th through 9th grade) Learn to Play Hockey program. This program will be run in conjunction with the Icehounds existing 10U House program, and will work to prepare Middle School students who are just getting started in ice hockey to play for their OHSAA High School program, or a local Club High School program if their school does not currently offer a hockey program.
Ages
Boys and Girls 4th through 9th grade
When
Tuesday 6:30pm - 7:20pm - Plan to arrive at least 20 minutes early for your player to have time to get dressed and be ready to hit the ice at the designated time.

Program Format
This program will run in conjunction with the Icehounds 10U House program on Tuesday evenings. This means that weeks will alternate with an ADM style station-based practice and a full-ice no-checking scrimmage.
Additional Costs
We are an affiliate of USA Hockey, which means a valid current season USA Hockey registration is also required. This cost is $51 and will be valid until August 31 of the current season.
Practices
Full Hockey Equipment is required. and includes: Helmet with Face Mask, Hockey Stick, Shoulder Pads, Elbow Pads, Gloves, Hockey Pants, Shin Pads, Mouthguard, Skates, and Athletic Supporter. Jersey and socks will be provided if needed.

USA Hockey Requirement: Each Player must have a valid 2021-2022 USA Hockey Registration to register for this program.
Dates: January 11, 18, 25; February 1, 8, 15, 22
